Ed Solar has worked professionally for several leading hospitality management companies, focusing on operations, business development, and feasibility. He is currently with a global full-service hospitality underwriting, acquisition, development, management, and asset management company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. In his role, Ed drives company growth by overseeing and expanding the portfolio.

Ed also owns a high-performing Airbnb property in Chattanooga, which consistently ranks among the top in the local market. He is constantly evaluating the viability of short-term versus long-term rentals.

His passion for hospitality was inspired by his grandmother, a true road warrior who instilled in him a love of travel. Her influence encouraged Ed to explore the world, and today, he appreciates that his work allows him to experience a small part of a new culture every time he visits a Valor property in a different city.

Outside of work, Ed enjoys reading, yoga, playing tennis, watching sports, and competing in triathlons.

Ashley has diverse experience in all facets of hospitality, from revenue generation to operations to designing unique experiences for guests, she has seen and done most of it. She can see the forest for the trees and appreciates ”a diamond in the rough”. She has a knack for thinking outside the box and leaving things better than she found them. She understands employees drive the guest experience and can foster a strong, results-driven culture. 

Ashley is currently the Director of Sales & Marketing at a destination mountain resort, overseeing all top-line revenue generation for a $10M+ property. On a day-to-day basis, she is responsible for sales, marketing, brand, events & programming, revenue management, and reporting to ownership.

She believes humans are hardwired for connection and exploration, and hotels are a natural catalyst for both. She enjoys creating thoughtful spaces and places. When Ashley is not working, she enjoys practicing yoga, mountain biking, gardening, skiing, and spending time deep in the mountains & with her two dogs. She resides in Bellingham, WA.

With 20 years of experience in hospitality leadership and operations, David’s career is marked by a commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences in remarkable locations. My expertise lies in guest experience and logistics, balanced with distinct financial discipline. I am passionate about learning and believe that we are all lifelong students. I love sharing hospitality with those around me and driving excellence for guests, team members, and owners. 

Outside of work, David enjoys getting outdoors, off-roading, and exploring his homeland in the desert southwest.
